Our take
These threaded inserts were exactly what I needed for a DIY sofa repair project. The zinc-plated steel feels sturdy, and the hex drive made installation straightforward with a simple hex key. The 64-piece set gives plenty of spares. I used them on plywood and particleboard, and they held up well when screwing in bolts. My only gripe is that the packaging could be better—the inserts came loose in a bag. But for the price, it's a great value if you're reinforcing furniture joints or adding threaded points in wood.
